Small Change Big Impact (SCBI) up to £2,000
Opens 29 Feb 2024 12:00 AM (GMT)
Description

CW+ offers Small Change Big Impact (SCBI) grants, awarding fast-track requests of up to £2,000, giving staff the power to decide the best way to support patients and improve patient care.

Aims

The fund aims to support staff aiming to improve patient care and patient experience.

We welcome imaginative ideas that will improve patient experience in a special way. Examples of bids include a pilot to encourage children with movement difficulties to attend exercise sessions, improvements in patient waiting areas, and funding to purchase a defibrillator to teach the public how it works and when to use it.

If applying for tablets you will need to get prior endorsement from the divisional triumvirate and the Divisional Clinical Information Officer.

The charity will not consider requests for: research, staff travel, voucher, subsistence and entertaining for staff, hospitality and refreshments for staff, payments or gifts to individuals.

Am I eligible?

The fund is open for applications from all staff members in any job role within the Trust.

How to apply

Click 'Apply' and complete the form. You will need to get your ward/department manager's endorsement.
